Trading Volume of Commodity Futures in March in Japan of 1 Million 368 Thousand, 2.6 % Up from February

As for trading volume in March on 3 commodity futures exchanges in Japan, Osaka Exchange was 1,030,423 (4.5 percent up from the previous month), Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) was 105,469 (14.1 percent up), Dojima Exchange (ODEX) was 232,931 (8.9 percent down) and total trading volume of the three exchanges was 1,368,823 (2.6 percent up).

In terms of trading volume by product, same as February, all products from top to third products were gold. The top, Osaka Exchange gold standard was 571,487 (6.0 percent up), the second, Dojima gold was 219,785 (11.1 percent down), the third, Osaka Exchange gold mini was 195,964 (5.2 percent up), the fourth, Osaka Exchange platinum standard was 139,753 (11.3 percent up) and the fifth, TOCOM crude oil was 92,781 (3.9 percent up). Of the 37 listed products, trading volume of 13 products in March was nil.
